experience life's moments
MindMend's goal? Simply to help folks achieve and maintain a clearer, more balanced headspace through Person-Centered Therapy. Every individual has their own story so I believe what makes the most sense is to come up with an approach that best suits them.
MindMend also aims to specifically reach those who have been or who continue to be affected by the legal system. After years of practicing as an attorney, I can understand what a roller coaster those experiences often are. I'm here to help preserve your sanity while having to deal with those ups and downs.
Live your life the way it was meant to be lived
Ashley Dalton, LCSW, LICSW, Esq.
Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Virginia and Massachusetts.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development from Virginia Tech in 2012, after which she moved to San Francisco to attend law school at Golden Gate University. While in law school, she focused primarily on public interest and family law with a particular emphasis on underrepresented and marginalized individuals and groups. After passing the California Bar, she then went on to practice Criminal Defense and Employment Law. While these fields opened up opportunities for her to help those who were in need, she became frustrated with the lack of consistent focus on the clients themselves. It was through this experience that she decided to go back to school and complete her MSW through Fordham University.
Since her graduation from Fordham in 2020, she has worked as a Case Manager in hospital settings serving patients spanning from infancy all the way through senior care. In the clinical setting, she has continued providing clinical therapy to a wide range of individuals, couples, and families. Given her educational and professional backgrounds, she is especially open to serving those who have been or continue to be affected by the legal system.
